To my friends...

June 11^th is rapidly approaching and so my time in Reno is quickly coming to an end. I have been incredibly busy the past couple of weeks with moving my things into storage, wrapping things up at work, and trying to spend as much time with my friends and family as possible.

People keep asking me if I am scared or nervous about the adventure I am about to embark on. Surprisingly, I’m not scared at all. This is very unlike me. I’m a worrier; always have been. Somehow I just know that everything is going to work out. I am extremely excited and eager to set out on this journey.

I do feel a slight sense of sadness. I have been so fortunate to have my friends and family close to me for the past 8 months. I almost forgot what that was like being that I was away in Vegas for 5 ½ years. For a time I lost sight of how truly important friendships are. Moving back to Reno helped me to realize how essential good friends are in one’s life. I want all of my friends who have given me unconditional support, hope, encouragement, understanding, and love to know how much I appreciate everything they have done. Without my friends I wouldn’t be where I’m at today. It’s because of all of their support and encouragement that I have the fortitude to chase my dreams. Thank you Lea, Sam, April, Melanie, Sonny, Laura and Jen for everything that you have done for me. I will miss you all. Love you guys!!!
